Running Wild Through The Corn

Well, tonight I spent the evening chasing a bunch of kids through a dark cornfield. I took the cub scouts to the corn maze a few miles away and we had a blast. I bought a bag of those glow bracelets and put one on everybody. We then took off with a bunch of moms staggering along in pursuit. Too many movies again, but I kept having this feeling that whoever was at the rear of our little procession was going to get grabbed by some monster and eaten in the dark. It definitely would have been one of the moms, because a monster would have had too hard of a time catching the boys! We finally made it out of the maze and jumped on the hayride. The evening ended with a little time on the playground. Everyone seemed to have a great time and we had a wonderful turnout from our pack. Hope we do as well with our upcoming camping trip!
